These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your use of the Revela mobile application (the “App”), operated by Sogro LLC (“Revela,” “we,” “us”). By downloading or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
Revela is a daily Bible companion. You share a short check-in about how you are feeling, and the App matches a Bible verse to your situation and generates a brief personal reflection and prayer, with your progress visualized as a growing plant. The App is available in English and Spanish.
Revela is intended for personal reflection, encouragement, and devotional use only. It is not a substitute for professional advice of any kind — medical, psychological, legal, financial, or pastoral — and it does not provide counseling or crisis services. If you are experiencing a medical or mental-health emergency, or thoughts of self-harm, contact your local emergency services or a qualified professional immediately. Do not rely on the App for any decision where professional guidance is appropriate.
The personalized verse framing, reflection, and prayer are generated by artificial intelligence based on your check-in. AI-generated content may contain errors or may not reflect any particular theological tradition or interpretation. Bible verses are drawn from public-domain or licensed translations. You are responsible for how you use and interpret the content the App provides.
Revela offers optional auto-renewable subscriptions that unlock full functionality, in Standard and Unlimited tiers, on weekly and yearly plans. Subscriptions include a 7-day free trial for eligible new subscribers.
You agree to use the App only for lawful, personal, non-commercial purposes, and not to: misuse or attempt to disrupt the App or its underlying services; reverse-engineer or extract the App’s software except as permitted by law; or submit content that is unlawful or that infringes the rights of others.
The App, including its design, branding, text, and software (excluding public-domain scripture and third-party content), is owned by Revela and its licensors and is protected by intellectual-property laws. We grant you a limited, personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to use the App in accordance with these Terms and the applicable app-store terms. Reflections and journal entries you create are yours.
Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains what limited information leaves your device and how it is handled.
The App is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that AI-generated content will be accurate or suitable for any purpose.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Revela and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, arising out of or relating to your use of the App. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to the App will not exceed the amount you paid for the App in the twelve months before the claim.
We may modify or discontinue features of the App, and we may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will revise the “Last updated” date above. Your continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of [STATE], United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules, except where local consumer-protection law provides otherwise.
